Our Menu

Funfoodle-photoThe Funfoodle class menu spans eight-weeks and is often a child’s first formal introduction to nutrition and food education. For maximum food exploration and nutrition education, we’ve designed each course to include:

  • Four Fruit and Vegetable lessons
  • One Dairy (or dairy substitute) lesson
  • One Grain/Starch lesson
  • One Protein lesson
  • One Spice/Herb or playful “Extra”

About Our Menu of Edible Lessons

  • We designed each lesson with age-appropriate skills
  • For safety’s sake, our creative lessons are kitchen-free and only occasionally require a blender or other simple plug-in device.
  • With our “touch, smell, lick or taste” philosophy, your child will never be forced to try a food.
  • Instead of talking about food in “good” or “bad” terms, we highlight where it grows, how it nourishes a growing body, and what it tastes, smells and feels like.
  • Children will occasionally give you food they’ve prepared and ask you to cook it later, if so, we will provide you with a recipe card.
  • We intend for children to get a bit messy as they cut, squeeze and play with food, please dress them accordingly.
  • Please don’t feed your child before class, a little bit of hunger encourages more food exploration and tasting!
